Sea of Thieves Patch 1.1.4 Released Gunpowder Skeletons Event, Performance Improvements
Rare has released a new patch for Sea of Thieves
Sea of Thieves was one of the most anticipated games of 2018. Gamers were dying to play it until it came out. When the game finally came out gamers started hating on the game as it got too repetitive and there is no progression in the game. If you didn’t know, the only progression that you can make in Sea of Theives is buying new clothes and other cosmetic items. In Sea of Thives, a play that has been playing for years has the same gadgets as a person that bought the game a few days ago. In some way that is more fun as players will actually have to use their experience and skill to kill other players not buying new, overpowered gadgets. Rare has been trying to improve Sea of Thieves since it came out with new performance fixes and big events to make the experience more fun and fill the world.
In the new patch, the Gunpowder Skeletons event has been added to the game. Rare’s description for the Gunpowder Skeletons event is, “Carrying a gunpowder keg, skeletons can now rush towards you, light their fuse and… BOOM, off to the Ferry you go! The Bilge Rats are challenging all brave pirates to defeat them in various ways, some less conventional than others! Keep an ear perked for a burning fuse, and a finger on the trigger… good luck!” Players that participate in this event will receive special rewards.
The new changes will improve the experience. The first update is that the Magadan behavior has been improved, the second is that Skeletons holding a blunderbuss or pistol have their accuracy reduced, the third is that players can make themselves joinable from the Crew Management tab, and the fourth is that the reputation summary have been updated with new visuals.
Epic has also fixed many performance issues which includes server improvements, client and crash fixes, better network bandwidth usage, and lower memory usage on PC. Epic has fixed many other issues as well, you can read the full patch notes here.
