The next Version of the Tomb Raider is leaked that it is “the Shadow of the tomb raider” Maybe with an online multiplayer mode

In an interview that Gatget360 did with  Meagan Marie, Senior Community Manager at Crystal Dynamics it was mentioned by her that “Fans are inherently integral to the success of a game” She said “Keeping fans engaged and interested in your game is only one part of the equation” and it seems that fans of gaming are externally into online multiplayer platforms with the rise of recent successful titles like Ghost recon and BF1. While tomb raider has generally been known for its sprawling single-player campaigns modes, there’s a lot more to it. Endurance Mode — a way for gamers to play through Rise of the Tomb Raider together in rise of the tomb raider was made based on fans interests direction. she mentioned that “When exploring options for fans to play Tomb Raider together, this franchise pillar needs to be taken into consideration,” she says. “That’s why we loved adding co-op to Endurance Mode in Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration. It allowed fans to raid tombs together in a context that worked well – a replayable, score-driven mode.” 

While she did not exactly comment on how a multiplayer online experience could tie into the next Tomb Raider game — rumoured to be called Shadow of the Tomb Raider— she seemed to be hinting at what to expect. And she mentioned that: “[We] can confirm that as a studio we continue to look for opportunities that extend gameplay experiences beyond the main campaign, similar to our Expedition Mode in Rise of the Tomb Raider,” she says. So The next Tomb Raider game may have modes beyond its campaign, This could be in the form of multiplayer online experiences and challenges,  The next game is rumoured to be developed at Eidos Montreal.

The release date is Absolutely related to the Tomb-raider movie release and that is also in early march 2018. The most possible date to release the game is in the next weeks after movie goes on theaters. But the Company is strangely silent about he game right now and it may be because of the leaks.

What has been leaked: The title, and other snippets of information about the visual sketches, were leaked in November last year, The title on the slides of a presentation power point show, “Shadow of the Tomb Raider”, is now assumed to be the name of the game. But, this presentation was seen on the Montreal subway not California where the main developer of the last two Tomb Raider games, Crystal Dynamics, is based. Could this mean that Eidos Montreal is taking the reins on this one? Well many sources actually think so!  Now that Enix pushed its announcement further into late 2017. Thanks to a recent Instagram posts, it seems we are getting closer to Shadow of the Tomb Raider official announcement. Square Enix shared an image of Lara Croft looking to the horizon at her “next adventure.”
