Skyrim VR coming to Steam HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Windows Mixed Reality

Skyrim VR is making it’s way to Steam

Skyrim is easily one of the most popular games of all time. You can find Skyrim on pretty much every gaming platform and most fans of the series have bought the game at least two times. There is a good chance if you have a Switch you got Skyrim for it. You probably also bought the game for the Xbox 360 or PS 3 when it came out. If you didn’t buy Skyrim on any of these consoles you must have bought the special edition for the Xbox One or PS 4. Skyrim VR came out for the PlayStation VR but Bethesda didn’t release it for Steam users. Bethesda is going to release Skyrim VR for Steam on April 3 2018.

You can pre-order Skyrim VR on Steam right now for the price of $59.99. To play Skyrim VR you will need the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, or Windows Mixed Reality headset. Skyrim VR can be played with the traditional controller or motion controls. You can play Skyrim VR seated, standing, or using room scale. Skyrim VR is the whole experience but in VR. Some would say that the price is too high considering that it’s a remake but fans of the series should buy the game if they own one of these VR headsets. Skyrim VR PS 4 has a score of 77/100 Metacritic and a user score of 8.0. One of the biggest problems of the game is the teleporting feature many say that takes away from the immersion.Skyrim VR comes with the full game and the Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn expansions.

Skyrim VR is the full Skyrim experience. Of course Skyrim VR doesn’t look as good as Skyrim running at 4k ultra settings but it looks pretty good for a VR game. Skyrim VR is going to be released on April 3rd on Steam
