Sony is Preparing Next Gen PS5 Campaign, Job Advertisement + All We Know About the Sony PlayStation 5, AMD hardware, Release date

This is Everything We Know About the PS 5

The Sony PlayStation 5 is expected to be the most powerful console of all time. Likely much more powerful than the Xbox One X. The Xbox One X is able to run the latest games at 4k, and according to the latest rumors, when the PS 5 comes out in a few years, gamers will be able to run every game at 4k

Sony is currently making arrangements for the marketing campaign for its next-generation console, the PS5.: “At PlayStation we are working at the frontiers of immersive experiences for our users. We are looking for an entrepreneurial Product Lead to join our Intelligence Platform Group. As part of this hands-on position you would work across Partners, Product and Engineering and contribute to development and growth of PlayStation Intelligence Platform. You will own the roadmap for next generation PlayStation campaign.” Wccftech reports

PS 5 Expected Specs

The Sony PlayStation 5 is expected to once again, go with AMD and use the AMD 7nm GPU Navi and Ryzen. Thanks to a rumor, we know that someone at Sony is working with AMD Ryzen technology.

“A principal programmer at Sony associated with the firm’s Advanced Technology Group is working with AMD’s Ryzen technology, improving the Zen core’s micro-architecture support within the LLVM compiler stack – a key component of a tool used in the PlayStation 4 development environment. Of course, there is no PS4 product using the Ryzen processor, leading to speculation that this is related to a prospective next-gen PlayStation 5 console currently in development.”

The PS 5 is probably not using AMD Zen 2, but it will probably feature AMD’s next-gen GPU AMD Navi. According to AMD, AMD Navi will “catapult computing, gaming, and visualization technologies forward” when it comes out in 2019. Thanks to its 7nm size, Sony will be able to give it less power but get more performance in return. If the PS 5 features AMD Ryzen and Navi, it will be a very powerful console.

When is the PS 5 Coming Out?

Although Sony hasn’t officially said anything about the PS 5, the latest rumors suggest that it will be released some time in 2020. 2020 makes sense as the PS 4 came out in 2013 and AMD Navi is going to be released in 2019. The PS 3 came out 6 years after the PS 2 and the PS 2 came out 6 years after the PS 1. Sony has stated that they want longer console generations, so 2020 seems like a logical release date for the PS 5.
