Star Wars Battlefront 2’s campaign length revealed

Battlefront 2’s campaign will be a just few hours long

Star Wars Battlefront (2015) didn’t have a single player campaign so when fans heard Star Wars Battlefront 2 would have a single player story they were very excited for it. Everyone wanted to know how long the campaign is going to be, but EA didn’t tell us. Now EA has revealed that number.

EA told Press Start the campaign would be 5-7 hours long. 5 to 7 hours of campaign is a pretty good length considering many triple-A games now days don’t even have campaign or if they do the campaign is 6 hours long. According to how long to beat‘s polls the average time it takes players to finish the BF1 campaign is 6 hours and 22 minutes long. According to the people that tried the campaign, it’s fun, and high quality, not a terrible campaign added into the game to keep players happy. When asked about story DLC Robillard said it’s up to players and players feedback to the campaign.

Battlefront 2 will not have paid DLC, but it will have loot boxes. When Star Wars Battlefront (2015) launched many fans were disappointed by the game’s lack of content. EA did add more content later on, but DLCs weren’t free. So many fans felt like it should’ve been priced a $29.99 instead of $59.99. Battlefront 2 will have a lot more content then Battlefront 1. Battlefront 2 has 3x more locations, vehicles, and heroes (at launch) then Battlefront (2015.) A lot more free content will get added to Battlefront 2 later on.

The campaign portion of the game takes place after the death of the emperor and Darth Vader. In the campaign, players will play as a special Empire trooper. The special unit is called Inferno squad the main character’s name is Iden Versio. Iden will try to avenge the emperor’s death after the destruction of the second Death Star.
