Xbox will allow devs to pick if they want Xbox One players using Mouse and Keyboard. A lot of people don't like that because players that use Mouse and Keyboard will have a significant advantage over people that use controllers. Mouse + keyboard interaction is far different from game pad experience and that is why many old pc users can not really give up on their PCs and play their games in Xbox or playstation.
