Even though many people say Esport isn’t a real sport so it shouldn’t go to the Olympics, that’s not holding big companies back from cashing in. FIFA and EA will hold the first-ever eWorld Cup next year.
In a press release, EA announced the world cup starts on November 3rd. Players will use their ultimate team in the world cup. From the EA sports FIFA 18 global series, FIFA and EA will choose the top 128 players (64 from PS 4 64 from Xbox One) to go to the playoffs. It seems like PC players will not be able to participate. The world cup will happen in 2 different ways. There will be rounds where organizers can make tournaments. The other way established teams will compete.
Any FIFA 18 owner that plays on the Xbox One or PS 4 will be able to play in the eWorld Cup. The best players will be able to compete in 2 live tournaments one in January and the other in April 2018. If you like FIFA 18 participate, it wouldn’t cost money and you don’t have to be good to participate in the eWorld Cup.

FIFA 18
FIFA 18 has been very successful in the UK. Fifa 18 has already reached nom. 1 game in the Uk. With Fifa 18 in nom. 1 Destiny 2 is now in the nom.2 spot. These sales are only retail sells in the UK. Fifa 18 was released on September 29, and it has beaten Destiny 2 sells of the whole month (retail only.) According to GamesIndustry.biz Fifa 18 sells are %25 down compared to Fifa 17 retail sells, which could be because Fifa 18 was released on a Friday while most other Fifa games were released on a Thursday. %1 of Fifa sells are on the Switch while %37 were on the Xbox One and %60 on the PS 4. That hurts the chance of feature Fifa games coming to the Switch.
Fifa 18 was released on the PS 4, PS 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The Switch, Xbox 360, and the PS 3 versions of the game don’t run on the Frostbite engine. Frostbite engine improves visuals and adds things such as story mode. Pc, Xbox One, and Ps 4 versions will have the Frostbite engine.
