The Nvidia RTX 2080 was really hyped up thanks to numerous leaks about its specs, but we haven’t seen many leaks or rumors about the lower end versions the RTX 2070 and RTX 2060. The RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 TI are very expensive as the RTX 2080 costs $800 with prices rumored to rise for both the RTX 2080 TI and the RTX 2080. Even though these cards are very powerful, most gamers can’t afford to pay $800 for one GPU, so they are excited to see the lower end versions.
RTX 2070 to Target 1440p, 60 FPS, Ultra
Nvidia has already said that the RTX 2080 series are made for 4K gaming. According to Nvidia themselves, the lower-end versions aren’t going to be able to play games at 4K, and they might even lose ray tracing. Nvidia themselves have admitted that the RTX 2070 isn’t going to be able to play games at 4K, but now, we know that 4K isn’t happening in the cheaper versions. The RTX 2070 is available for pre-order for $599.99, and that is still pretty pricey. Unfortunatly, for $599.99 you probably wouldn’t be able to do 4K 60 FPS Ultra maybe 4k 30 Ultra, 1440p ultra settings 60 FPS is definitely going to be possible. In the last gen GPUs, the GTX 2070 was designed for 1440p, but it really wasn’t able to do 1440p, ultra 60 FPS in most triple-A games. The RTX 2070 is likely going to be able to do that.
RTX 2060 to Target 1440p, 60 FPS, Ultra
When the Nvidia GTX 2060 came out, it meant that gamers would be able to play games at 60 FPS ultra 1080p. Even though that is still possible in most games, you might get a little less than 50 at ultra 1080p in really demanding games. The Nvidia RTX 2070 is priced at $599, and the RTX 2080 is priced at $799. The RTX 2080 TI will cost you $1,199. The RTX 2080 costs 33% less than the RTX 2080 TI, and the RTX 2070 costs 25% less than the RTX 2080. The RTX 2080 TI is sort of like the Titan XP, so the price increase from the RTX 2080 to the RTX 2080 TI doesn’t really count. Since the RTX 2070 will cost you $599, we can guess that the RTX 2060 will cost you $399.
