The Sony PlayStation 5 (ps5) to be The Most Powerful Console of All Time (To Feature AMD Navi APU)

The PS 5 is Expected to Make 4K Gaming Main-Stream

A

This Gens-Consoles made 4K gaming available to the average gamer for the first time. Thanks to consoles such as the Xbox One X, gamers are able to play many games at 4K and ultra settings. Microsoft called the Xbox One X the most powerful console of all time, and that was definitely a deserving title as the console was the first console that was able to play games at true 4K and not only first-party games. According to the latest rumors about the PS 5’s specs, the console is going to be very powerful for a console.

PS 5’s GPU AMD Navi

According to the latest rumors, the Sony PlayStation 5 is going to feature a new 7nm GPU made by AMD. The 14nm Vega 10 GPU holds a total of 4,096 Stream Processors but thanks to the 7nm size of the Navi GPU, AMD could fit 1.6x more logic into the same amount of space. Remember this is just a rumor so take it with a grain of salt. The PS 5 is expected to use a powerful GPU that will target the mid-range PC market when it is released likely in 2020. The PS 5’s GPU is likely going to be much more powerful than even Xbox One X’s GPU, but when it does come out, it will be like a $500 PC.

PS 5’s Costume AMD CPU

Like all other times, AMD is likely going to make a costume CPU for the consoles similair to what the did with the PS 4 and Xbox One. The CPU is probably going to be very weak since consoles usualy feature a powerful GPU but a weak CPU. The CPU is usualy just enough, so it doesn’t hold the GPU back.
