While Intel is Struggling to Release 10nm CPUs, AMD is Going to Release the World’s First 7nm Processors in 2019
AMD’s 7nm CPUs are Going to be Released Sometime in 2019

Right now, in terms of gaming alone, AMD hasn’t been doing very well. In most games, Intel runs games a lot better than AMD thanks to Intel’s higher single-core performance. Although AMD Ryzen features up to 8 cores, Intel CPUs around the same price feature only 6 cores but still performs a lot better than the Ryzen 7 2700x in games. According to a recent rumor, Intel is struggling to release their next-gen 10nm CPUs.
Intel Respons to 10nm CPU Cancelation Rumors
Intel has officially replied to 10nm CPU cancelation rumors. Intel wrote, “Media reports published today that Intel is ending work on the 10nm process are untrue. We are making good progress on 10nm. Yields are improving consistent with the timeline we shared during our last earnings report.”
Recently a credible source SemiAccurate started a rumor that suggested Intel has killed off their 10nm CPUs because of production issues. Intel quickly responded to the rumors, but it is still worrying for Intel. Intel is likely having some manufacturing issues with their 10nm CPUs which is bad news as AMD’s Ryzen 2 is going to be released sometime in 2019.
Next-Gen 7nm AMD Ryzen 2 CPUs Coming Out in 2019
AMD has said that Ryzen 2 and AMD Navi are going to “catapult gaming forward.”
“In 2019, AMD will catapult computing, gaming, and visualization technologies forward with the world’s first 7nm high-performance CPUs and GPUs, providing the power required to reach technology’s next horizon. During her CES keynote, Dr. Su and guests will provide a view into the diverse applications for new computing technologies ranging from solving some of the world’s toughest challenges to the future of gaming, entertainment and virtual reality with the potential to redefine modern life.”
AMD is really good at keeping their secrets as we don’t have any info about Ryzen 2. AMD has released a roadmap that suggests Ryzen 2 is going to be released in 2019 and it’s going to “Improve on Zen in multiple dimensions.” Of course, this doesn’t mean that Ryzen 2 is automatically going to beat Intel’s next-gen CPUs but, AMD does have an advantage over Intel.
