At E3 Microsoft announced that backward compatible games from the original Xbox would come to the Xbox One later on. That made many fans very happy. Those fans will be delighted to know backward compatible games have been leaked.

Twitter user WalkingCat (h0x0d) tweeted an image of the first wave of backward compatible games from the original Xbox. H0x0d is a Microsoft leaker that leaked many things. One of the things h0x0d leaked was the Surface Pro. According to h0x0d 12 original Xbox games are on the way to the Xbox One. Those games are Price of Persia: the sand of time, Red Faction 2, Dead to Rights, Fuzion Frenzy, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Ninja Gaiden Black, The King of Fighters Neowave, Crimson Skies, Sid Meier’s Pirates, Psychonauts, BloodRayne, and Grabbed by the Ghoulies.

Some of the best Xbox games such as Halo 2, Halo Combat Evolved, Gotham Racing, Forza Motorsport, and many more games are not on this list, but that doesn’t mean there are no good games. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic was very popular with games, and many gamers loved the game. Right now many Xbox 360 games such as the original Red Dead Redemption, Bioshock infinite, and Farcry 3 are available on the Xbox One right now, but no games from the original Xbox.

Backwards compatibility has become a big thing with Xbox, while you can say the exact opposite about Sony. PS Europe boss said no one wants to play old games on the PS 2 and PS 1. According to him, they look ancient. The Xbox has a very long list of backward compatible games on more are getting added. Many fans want Sony to have backward compatible games, but it seems like that will not happen for a long time.
