2018 Samsung Smartphones Will Lose to Apple & Chinese About 10% of Market Share

Samsung Is Going To Lose to Apple about 10% of 2018 Smartphone Share | While Now Samsung is the biggest smartphone manufacturers in the world, in next year analytics it is predicted that the company’s dominance is set to see a shake like a 10% decline in smartphones market share. Samsung has 9.6% global market share advantage in 2017 over closest rivals Apple. According to the reports, Samsung may see a decrease from its 319.8 million recorded shipments this year, to a projected 315.3 million total shipments in 2018. The reason is Apple and Chinese phones that are getting more shares. In the premium segment of smartphones samsung is losing to Apple iphones, and in the low-budget markets samsung is losing to Chinese smartphones brands. In 2017 of course Samsung was the biggest smartphone manufacturers in the world. But the main issue seems to be in chine. The Samsungs lack of success in the largest smartphone market “China” that is being gained by the Chinese brands. Report are placing the Samsung’s Chinese market share at a pitiful 2.2%.

Samsung has a strong hold in India that is the second largest market in the world, but even that may be in danger soon based on the growth of the Chinese brands. One side of the danger is from Xiaomi that is certain to get to the top spot in the coming months. All of these are, of course, expected figures derived from analysis on current statistical data and trends; things may turn out radically different next year.

Other brands like Huawei, which is the 3rd largest smartphone brand in the world, is to see a rise from 156 million shipments this year to 164.5 million in 2018, with a market share increase from 9.3% to 10%. OPPO, is the next in line, is expected to have a growth from 121.9 million shipments to 127.5 million in 2018. And of course Xiaomi, which is keeping up with its recent growth, is expected to see a jump in shipment from 95.7 million to 120.1 million in 2018.
