PUBG Xbox One exclusive update out

The Xbox One version of PUBG has gotten an exclusive patch that fixes many issues

Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds aka PUBG is one of the most famous games of 2017. When it was on PC it sold 20 million copies while it was only on Steam and in early access and right now it has sold  27,663,372 units according to Steamspy. As you can see it was very popular so it made a lot of sense for PUBG Corp to publish the game on other consoles. Unfortunately, it will not be available on the other consoles for a long time but it is said that PUBG Corp wants to release PUBG on every platform. When PUBG was released for the Xbox One gamers were very excited to finally get their hands on it but the hype quickly died down becuase of PUBG’s bad performance on the Xbox One. PUBG runs at the lower than very low settings to close to the low preset on PC and on the Xbox One PUBG looks a lot like the medium settings on PC the draw distance seems like its the low preset on PC. Gamers were even more disappointed when they realized not only PUBG looked bad on the Xbox One but it also didn’t run very well. Xbox One gamers were faced with many issues while playing the game such as frequent crashes.

According to PUBG Corp with the new update, PhysX performance has been improved, Server FPS has been increased, Client FPS has been increased, and Some VFX got more optimized. PUBG Corp says that they have fixed many crashing issues on the Xbox One. They also changed many things in gameplay such as player damage to vehicles, the issue that caused “indoor lighting and shadows to appear too dark and blueish” has been fixed, you can use acceleration with the analog stick when exiting the plane and using the parachute, and many more issues. Right now you can purchase PUBG for $29.99 from the Xbox Store. Right now PUBG is in Xbox One’s early access program and right now we don’t know when it will be released.
