PUBG PC gets a new update fixes performance issues and more

PUBG PC has gotten a new update

When Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds was released in early access on PC it didn’t run very well. With a GTX 1070 and I7 7700k gamers got 60 fps at ultra 1080p  but most of the time the frame rate fell down to 40 FPS and that wasn’t very fun. Well when PUBG launched on the PC performance greatly increased but there were still many issues so Bluehole is releasing more updates that improve PUBG’s performance on PC. A few weeks ago PUBG PC got an exclusive update some of the things that this update fixed were issues that cause character positioning and in-game lag. Now PUBG PC has gotten a new exclusive update that fixes performance issues.

The new PC exclusive update is now available for download and PUBG Corp has released the patch notes. The client optimization is reduced the performance issue that slowed down the game when many people were gathered in the same area. PUBG Corp worked on bugs too. PUBG Corp has fixed the bug that made the character “instantly stopped moving and adjusted.” The other bug fix is the issue that character movement seemed weird while watching the gameplay. The first PUBG 1.0 patch couldn’t fix the character repositioning issue but it seems like this new update has fixed that issue.

PUBG 1.0 helped it’s performance on PC a lot. Before PUBG 1.0 we could barely get to 60 FPS with a GTX 1070 and I7 7700k but when PUBG was released the performance got a lot better. We benchmarked a PC with Intel Core I7 7700k (not overclocked), an MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X GPU, an MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Motherboard, and 2 sticks of 8 GB Ballistix Sport LT DDR4 2400 RAM. You can see all of the specs here. With this PC we got an average of 77 frames per second at 13 minutes of gameplay while playing the game at the ultra preset, 1080p. PUBG is now available for the Xbox One and PC for $29.99.
