PC gamers have been playing their games in 1080p for years. In recent years GPUs that can handle games at 1080p hasn’t been very expensive but 4K gaming has been a dream for most PC gamers. Right now if you want to play games at 4K, 60 FPS, Ultra-High you will need to spend more then $1200 to get your self a Nvidia Titan XP. If you don’t know to spend $1200 on a GPU is a lot. It has been a luxury to play games at 4k for a long time some might say even way too long. It seems like with the next-gen Nvidia GPUs PC gamers are going to be able to play 4K games on a GPU that is priced less than $1000. Although the specs haven’t been officially announced numerous leaks have suggested that the GTX 1180 is going to be as powerful or stronger than the Nvidia Titan XP. The most powerful consumer GPU.

According to recent rumors, the GTX 1180 is going to have 3584 Cuda Cores, 16GB of VRAM, 1600MHz core clock, 1800MHz boost clock, 13 TFLOPS, 16 Gbps Memory Speed, and a TDP of 170 to 200 watts. The GTX 1180 is expected to come out in Q3 2018 or July and the launch price is supposed to be around $699. These specs are very close to the Titan XP’s specs but the price is almost half of it.

The Titan XP is a beast. It is able to run GTA V at 4k everything set at Ulta settings. In demanding parts of the game, the FPS doesn’t fall below 35 which is really good as GTA V is able to destroy most systems when it’s running at 4k and ultra settings.
