AMD & NVIDIA GPU Prices Are Down: The Best Deals for GTX 1080 August 2018 & More

With Nvidia’s new RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti coming out next month and the RTX 2070 coming in October, as we expected the prices on the current-gen 10-series and AMD cards also are already dropping. We expect even more discounts as we move closer to launch and afterward.

Nvidia announced RTX 2080 in GamesCom and the showcased Ray Tracing for most of the show. When a gamer tried a demo of Shadow of the Tomb Raider with Ray Tracing enabled and the RTX 2080TI in it, they noticed that the game wasn’t performing well and gamers were mad at Nvidia because these cards were supposedly very powerful. Nvidia decided to stop all of the rumors by releasing these benchmarks, so we know how these cards are going to perform. For the first time, gamers can play the latest games at 4k, 60 FPS, ultra settings with the RTX 2080.
