Red Dead Redemption 2 Online is Coming Really Soon as Suggested by New Xbox Leak

Red Dead Online is Very Close

GTA Online is one of the biggest reasons for Grand Theft Auto 5’s success. Thanks to Rockstar releasing a big update for GTA Online every few months, gamers are always occupied in turn making Rockstar lots of money through microtransactions. It was expected for Red Dead 2 to get an online mode with microtransactions but we didn’t know when. Thanks to Xbox’s achievement page, we know that Rockstar is testing out Red Dead online.

Right now, if we go and look at the Red Dead 2 achievement page on Xbox, you will notice that there are a few achievements for Red Dead online. Thanks to the Red Dead Online achievements, we know that Rockstar is testing out Red Dead online. It says that o.o1% of gamers have finished Red Dead Online’s Intro. This means that Red Dead Online isn’t that far off from release as Rockstar has already finished the intro mission.

Right now, Rockstar hasn’t said anything about a release date for Red Dead Online but, we do know that there is going to be a beta. Red Dead 2 Online is definitely going to feature microtransactions. Take-Two’s CEO said, “We’ve said that we aim to have recurrent consumer spending opportunities for every title that we put out at this company. It may not always be an online model, it probably won’t always be a virtual currency model, but there will be some ability to engage in an ongoing basis with our titles after release across the board.” This is a fancy way to say that all of our future games are going to feature microtransactions. This isn’t surprising as pretty much every triple-A game is filled with microtransactions. Rockstar will likely implement microtransactions in Red Dead 2 the same way they did with GTA Online.
