Leaked RTX 2060 Benchmark Suggests it Could Become the Next 1080p Budget Gaming Champion
The Nvidia RTX 2060 Might be the GPU That Saves RTX

The Nvidia RTX series GPUs aren’t the most popular Nvidia GPU Series. In fact, RTX is probably one of the most disappointing Nvidia RTX GPU series for gamers. Nvidia RTX disappointed gamers thanks to its lackluster performance when compared to last-gen cards. Nvidia RTX GPUs perform about 15% better than 10 series GPUs around the same price point. It seems like Nvidia forgot about us gamers and focused too much on ray tracing. Although the high-end RTX GPUs are pretty disappointing, the lower-end cards might become a success.
RTX 2060 Benchmarks Leaked | Probably the Max-Q Variant
Thanks to Final Fantasy’s benchmark page, we have some benchmark scores from the RTX 2060. Most of the time, scores on Final Fantasy’s benchmark page aren’t fake. The RTX 2060 didn’t too well on the test as it only scored 2589. The GTX 1070 got a better score then the RTX 2060 but, it was able to beat out the Max-Q Variant of the GTX 1070. The GTX 1070 Max-Q got 2270. This leaked benchmark is most likely from the max-q variant of the card or it’s just fake. The RTX 2080 beats out the GTX 1080Ti and the RTX 2070 beats out the GTX 1080. This is either the max-q variant or Nvidia messed up bad or someone is just trolling.
The RTX 2060 Could Become the 1080p Champion
The Nvidia RTX 2060 will most likely be able to beat out the GTX 1070. The GTX 1070 is pretty powerful and it’s able to run pretty much every game at 1080p 60 FPS ultra settings. The RTX 2060 will not feature ray tracing so it’s not going to be that expensive. Ray tracing takes a lot of power and money to enable on a GPU that is why the high-end RTX cards cost so much. Without ray tracing, the RTX 2060 will likely cost around $300. If the max-q variant beats out the max-q GTX 1070, the desktop variant will likely be able to beat out the GTX 1070 and that would make it the budget 1080p gaming champion.
