NVIDIA RTX Final Prices Leaked

If you have been following the news you have probably heard that the AMD Radeon Navi series GPUs are going to be powerful but, rumors quickly started going around claiming that NVIDIA is going to release NVIDIA RTX SUPER refreshes. Well, it seems like those rumors are definitely happening and we have gotten our hands on final pricing for the NVIDIA SUPER RTX refreshes from a very credible source, Videocardz.
NVIDIA RTX SUPER Specs and Price
NVIDIA’s RTX refreshes are going to be powerful but, they wouldn’t cost more than their vanilla counterparts. According to Videocardz, the high-end NVIDIA RTX SUPER 2080 is going to cost $699 and it’s going to be released on July 23rd. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER and Geforce RTX 2060 SUPER are going to cost $499 and $399 and they’ll both be released on July 9th, All three RTX SUPER GPUs are going to come out on July 2nd.
Now let’s talk about the specs. According to the latest rumors, the NVIDIA RTX SUPER GPUs are going to feature non-OC chips one tier above their vanilla counterparts. The NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPEr is going to feature an RTX 2080 chip and so on. Now, let’s talk about performance. Thanks to leaked Final Fantasy benchmarks and rumors, we know that the RTX SUPER refreshes are going to feature about 15% better performance than their vanilla counterparts.
Does it Compete With AMD Navi?
The AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT may be a little bit disappointing. The AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT is said to launch with an MSRP of $449 but as you can see below, it barely outperforms the NVIDIA RTX 2070. The benchmarks below are official but, the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT still doesn’t perform that well. If the NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER performs about 15% better then the RTX 2070, the RX 5700 XT wouldn’t be able to compete. Of course, the RTX 2070 SUPER is going to cost $50 more than the RX 5700 XT but, it’ll perform better and it also has an extra feature, Ray Tracing.

The lower-end AMD NAVI GPU, the Radeon RX 5700 performs better than the RTX 2060 across the board for $379. The NVIDIA RTX 2060 SUPER for only $20 more is going to feature 8GB of VRAM and higher core counts which means that the RTX 2060 SUPER is going to perform considerably better than the RTX 2060. Modern triple-A games can easily use up to 6GB of VRAM so, the increased VRAM is really going to help the RTX 2060 SUPER.
