ARK Survival Evolved still gets Thousands of Concurrent Players a Day on Steam

If you are into video games, you probably know about ARK Survival Evolved. The developers of the game received a lot of hate from gamers because of all the issues with the game. ARK is still very laggy and has many issues, but for some reason, the developers Studio Wildcard decided to release paid DLC for the game instead of making the game better. Although ARK gets a lot of hate, the game is getting thousands and thousands of Concurrent Players every day on Steam alone.

According to Steam Spy, ARK Survival Evolved got 31,421 concurrent players yesterday on Steam alone. That means 31,421 gamers played the game at the same time on Steam. This is a significant number of players considering the amount of hate the game received (as can be seen in its reviews on Steam.) Keep in mind that GTA Online a much more popular game got a peak concurrent players of more than 50,000. As you can see 31,421 is a good amount for a game that has been hated on so much. 

The game’s official description on Steam reads, “As a man or woman stranded naked, freezing and starving on the shores of a mysterious island called ARK, you must hunt, harvest resources, craft items, grow crops, research technologies, and build shelters to withstand the elements. Use your cunning and resources to kill or tame & breed the leviathan dinosaurs and other primeval creatures roaming the land, and team up with or prey on hundreds of other players to survive, dominate… and escape!”
