AMD Navi $250 GPU to Outperform $500 Nvidia GPU | Release Date, Specs

AMD Navi Specs and Release Date Leaked

AMD Radeon RX Vega, 500, 400 in 2018

Right now, Nvidia controls the gaming market due to its Turning RTX GPU series and the fact that AMD’s competing GPUs are either overpriced or perform worse than their Nvidia counterparts. Well, if you follow the news you’d know that the worlds first 7nm Navi GPUs are going to be released really soon and the latest rumors claim that Navi is going to be able to blow away Nvidia.

AMD Navi Release Date Leaked

According to the latest report, AMD is going to release their next-generation of 7nm GPUs and CPUs on July 7th, 2019 or 7/7/19. AMD supposedly used the 7/7 release date for marketing as they are going to release Navi and Zen 2 on the same day. AMD already did this with the Radeon VII which came out on February 7th. A lot of past rumors have claimed that Navi is going to be released in Summer 2019 therefore, a 7/7 release date isn’t very far fetched.

When is it Going to be Announced?

A July 7th release date means that AMD is probably going to announce Navi sometime around May 2019 therefore, it makes a lot of sense for AMD to announce Navi at Computex 2019. A Computex announcement isn’t very far fetched as AMD announced the 2nd-gen Ryzen Threadripper CPUs at Computex and, it’s the biggest computer expo that takes place between May and July.

$250 AMD Navi vs Nvidia RTX 2070

According to the latest rumors, AMD is going to release the weaker Navi cards in 2019 while the high-end Navi card is coming in 2020. The RX 3060 and RX 3070 are going to cost $120 and $200 and they’ll come out in 2019 while the RX 3080 is going to cost $250 and it’s coming out in 2020. The best part of this rumor is the fact that the AMD RX 3080 is supposedly going to be able to outperform the $500 Nvidia RTX 2070 GPU. This sounds a bit unrealistic until you consider the fact that AMD may use Variable Rate Shading Tech to vastly boost Navi’s performance.
