Zen 2 and AMD Navi to be Announced at Computex 2019 (Rumor)

If you follow tech news you have most likely heard about AMD’s next-gen 7nm CPUs and GPUs which were said to be able to blow away the competition. It was thought that AMD is going to mention Navi and Zen 2 at CES 2019 but, instead of Navi we got the Radeon VII and we got some benchmark scores for Zen 2. Gamers have been waiting for AMD’s next-gen 7nm CPUs and Navi but, AMD didn’t exactly give us a release date. All they said was that the 7nm CPUs and GPUs are coming out in 2019 but, a new rumor claims that they’re going to be released on the 7th of July.

Zen 2 and Navi Coming on July 7th

According to a new report from RedGamingTech, AMD is going to launch Ryzen 3000, X570 and Radeon Navi in July specifically, on the 7th of July. RedGamingTech reports that AMD chose the 7th of July as it is the 7th day of the 7th month of the year or 7/7/19 which is exactly what they did with the Radeon VII as it came out on the 7th of February. We have already seen many rumors in the past claiming that Zen 2 and Navi are going to come out sometime around the summer hence a 7/7/19 release date makes a lot of sense. AMD Navi was also recently spotted in MacOs which means that it’s most likely not very far from release. 

AMD Navi to be Announced at Computex 2019

A July release date means that AMD is going to announce Navi and Zen 2 a few months earlier therefore, Computex seems like the best option for AMD. If you remember last year AMD announced the second generation of Ryzen Threadripper CPUs at Computex which were released two months later in August 2018. If this rumor is legit, gamers will have to wait one month before they can get their hands on Zen 2 and Navi.
