AMD Navi New Rumors! Release Date, Specs, Performance

We Have Gotten New AMD Navi Rumors

7nm GPU

If you follow the news, you have probably heard that Nvidia has recently released the GTX 1660 and thanks to that they have captured the low-end gaming market from AMD. Although AMD reduced the prices of the Vega 56, you can’t find it for less than $300 online which means that Nvidia controls most of the gaming market right now. If you have been looking into AMD Navi, I have good news for you as we have gotten new rumors about Navi’s release date.

AMD Navi New Rumors

Thanks to the popular tech site, Wccftech we have gotten our hands on new rumors about AMD’s next-gen 7nm Navi GPUs. According to the report, AMD Navi is going to be released at least a month after AMD Zen 2 is released.

Wccftech wrote, “I have been told that AMD’s Navi GPU is at least one whole month behind AMD’s 7nm Ryzen launch, so if the company launches the 3000 series desktop processors at Computex like they are planning to, you should not expect the Navi GPU to land before early August. The most likely candidates for launch during this window are Gamescom and Siggraph. I would personally lean towards Gamescom simply because it is a gaming product and is the more likely candidate but anything can happen with AMD!”

Thanks to somewhat credible rumors, we know that AMD may release their next-gen 7nm Zen 2 CPUs on 7/7/19. The rumor claimed that AMD chose the 7/7 release date because they are going to release Navi and Zen 2 on the same day. If this rumor is true, Zen 2 is most likely going to be announced at Computex 2019 but, it seems like AMD changed their mind about Navi’s release date.

AMD Navi Performance and Specs

The latest reports claim that AMD is going to release the lower-end AMD Navi cards, RX 3060 and RX 3070 in 2019 while the RX 3080 is going to be released in 2020. The RX 3060 and RX 3070 cost $129 and $200 while the RX 3080 is supposedly going to cost you $250. The crazy part is the fact that the RX 3060 and RX 3070 are rumored to perform like the RX 580 and Vega 56 while the RX 3080 is going to perform on par with the RTX 2070.
