AMD Releases New Update for Adrenalin 18.1.1 Driver To Fix DirectX 9 Issues
The Adrenalin 18.1.1 driver will be available via AMD’s website.
AMD just released a new version of the Radeon driver Adrenalin 18.1.1.that made some radeon users suffer from PC stability issues after installation. The main intention of this driver release is the fix for crashing DX9 games. The issue was made by the last version the Adrenalin 17.12.1. AMD very quickly released an alpha hotfix to address the issue after it was discovered, but the fix is coming officially in this driver as well.
More history on Adrenalin: This Is a Major driver project that is officially being called Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition via the AMD’s formal announcement at the end of last month.
