AMD Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3 APU For Lapotops, With Vega 11 and Vega 8 Graphics

The latest AMD Ryzen mobile processors are becoming more and more famous for faster Vega graphics and now some info have been leaked by Informatica Cero (via Videocardz) about some new prosucts. The new processors will benefit from Zen CPU and Vega GPU cores like the previously launched Ryzen mobile APUs with even stronger graphics. According to the leaks, AMD is preparing faster Mobile Ryzen APUs for the notebook in different levels of power, performance and mobility. These processors to be labeled “G” family while the last launched lineup falls under the “U” family. “U” series are ultra low power category which tackles similar Core U series processors from Intel. The Ryzen “G” mobile series will be faster than the currently available lineup based on TDP. “G” may refer to Graphic or Gaming or anything, we do not know now.

The Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 3 2200G now are mentioned in the leaks. The Ryzen 5 2400G is to have 4 cores and 8 threads while having the Vega 11 graphics processor. Vega 11 will probably has 704 stream processors which is the highest ever integrated on a mobile APU by AMD. The power consumption is at 65W TDP that can be configured down to 35W and well with this numbers you are looking at a very long battery life. Ryzen 3 2200G is to have 4 cores and 4 threads and Vega 8 graphics to get 512 stream processors along with similar TDP ratings ranging from 35W to 65W. AMD is also making new Mobile Ryzen 3 2300U cpu with Vega 6 graphics that has 384 stream processors in a 15W package.

These are all probably some CPUs in ultrathin notebooks market that is actually a big part of laptop market. From Microsoft surface to asus transformer all are potential products that can use one of these CPUs.
