Let’s be honest here if you want a PC that can play the latest games at 1080p medium settings, 60 FPS you’ll have to spend at least $500 which is way too much for most gamers. Before AMD released Ryzen G-series CPUs, the most powerful APUs were Intel’s 630 graphics. Thanks to the AMD Vega 11 APUs, gamers are able to play games like GTA V at low settings 50 FPS at 1080p therefore, the Zen 2 APUs aren’t powerful enough to play games at acceptable settings. If you follow the news, you probably know that Zen 2 isn’t very far from release therefore, the Zen 2 APUs may be a year or two from release.

AMD Zen 2 Release Date Rumors

According to the latest rumors, AMD is going to release their next-gen 7nm Navi GPUs and Zen 2 CPUs on July 7th or 7/7/19. According to the report, AMD chose the 7/7 release date due to the fact that they’re going to release two different 7nm hardware on the same day. Although the report isn’t very credible, a 7/7 release date makes a lot of sense as AMD is really trying to capitalize on the 7nm Node size.

AMD Vega 11 APU Benchmarks

The AMD Ryzen 5 2400G features the most powerful APU available in the gaming market. Thanks to AMD, you can actually play most triple-A games at 1080p and get around 60 FPS.

AMD Zen 2 APUs

Unfortunatly, right now we don’t have any rumors on AMD Zen 2 APUs most likely because it’s very far from release but, AMD will most likely release it. AMD’s Ryzen G-series CPUs were a big success therefore, AMD will most likely release Zen 2 APUs. Intel’s next-gen APUs are supposedly going to be able to deliver up to 1 teraflop of performance and AMD will probably try to outperform Intel, therefore, we will probably see Zen 2 APUs that can play the latest triple-A games at 1080p medium and get 60 FPS.
