Far Cry 5 will fully support co-op
All of Far Cry 5′ campaign will support co-op
The co-op mode has been in Far Cry games for a long time, but you couldn’t play all the campaign in co-op mode. During the Paris Games Week, Ubisoft revealed a co-op trailer for Far Cry 5. In Far Cry 5 the full campaign will be available in co-op mode.
The trailer showed the fact that they build Far Cry 5 with co-op in mind. The trailer showed some gameplay of co-op mode, and it seemed pretty fun. Your friend will be able to use a plane while you provide cover from below, both of you could attack from the ground and destroy the enemy base. Co-op mode is two players max. You have to finish the first mission for co-op mode. Both players will be able to keep everything they earned (XP, loot, etc.) In co-op mode, the host’s story will progress not the other persons. For example, if you are on the 3rd level of the game and you help your friend finish the last level in their world you will not get progress in your world.
Far Cry Primal didn’t support co-op mode because the Far Cry team focused on the single-player portion of the game so they can make a good game. Far Cry 4 did have co-op mode. In Far Cry, 4 players were able to play with a friend in co-op mode. The main story of the game wasn’t available, and players were able to do side quests together and play in the open world. Like Far Cry 5 in Far Cry 4 co-op the host player progressed. Unlike Far Cry 5’s co-op mode items earned in co-op, mode was saved in co-op mode, not the single player game. Co-op wasn’t a very popular feature in Far Cry, but that might change with Far Cry 5.
