Gigabyte introduced new Thunderbolt-3 powered Aorus Gaming Box by upgrading the GPU to support a Nvidia flagship GeForce GTX 1080 from the previous  GTX 1070. The Box design remains unchanged and it is featuring a 450W power supply, three USB 3.0 ports, and shipping with the graphics card already inside. Thunderbolt TM 3 provides the speed up to 40Gbps, delivering the fastest connection to any dock, any display or data device. It creates much more possibility in one compact port. AORUS GTX 1080 Gaming Box provides 3 USB ports to connect a mouse, a keyboard, a headset, a USB storage, or any other USB devices. Or, plug a “USB to Ethernet LAN Adaptor” to use the wired network.

The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 inside is a custom card + a large fan over some heavy heat-sinks. The new Aorus Gaming Box hits stores for $600, and the company hinted an even-larger GTX 1080 Ti version of the eGPU dock is also inbound.
