AMD’s Next-Gen GPUs are Rumored to be Powerful

Right now Nvidia controls most of the gaming market. AMD Vega didn’t have the best launch and after a little bit of time, Nvidia has regained the spot for the most powerful gaming GPU with RTX series. We already knew that AMD is going to release their 7nm Navi GPU and Zen 2 CPU sometime in 2019 but, we didn’t know anything more until now. A new rumor by Videocardz suggests that the Navi GPUs might be able to perform like the RTX 2070 at half the price.

New AMD Navi GPU leak

Thanks to a credible YouTuber known as AdoredTV, we have gotten a lot of info on AMD’s next-gen GPUs. We know that AMD is going to release three different GPUs, the RX 3070 and RX 3060 based on the Navi 12 chipset and the RX 3080 based on the Navi 10 chipset. The RX 3060 is going to cost you $129.99 and it’s going to feature 4Gb of GDDR6 RAM, 75W TDP and it’s going to perform like the RX 580. The RX 3070 is going to cost you $199.99 and it’s going to feature 8gb GDDR6 VRAM. It’ll have a TDP of 120w and perform like the RX Vega 56. The most powerful card, the RX 3080 is going to cost you $249.99 and it’s going to have 8Gb of GDDR6 VRAM, a TDP of 150w and it will perform 15% better than the Vega 64.

AMD to Release Three Different AMD Navi GPU Series

Thanks to past rumors, we knew that AMD is going to release three different AMD Navi GPU series. Navi 12, Navi 10, and Navi 20. We knew that Navi 12 and Navi 10 are going to be released in 2019 and Navi 20, the high-end models will follow in 2020. This leak supports the new one by AdoredTV so it’s most likely real.
