The new Joy Con colors are finally coming to North America

The Nintendo Switch was one of the most popular consoles of 2017. The Nintendo Switch sold 10 million units in only 9 months exceeding Nintendo’s expectations by millions of units. When Nintendo said that they have shortage issues becuase the Switch has too much demand they weren’t lying. Nintendo planned to sell only 8 million Nintendo Switch units in Nintendo Switch’s first facial yer April 2017 through March 2018. Nintendo also dominated Amazon’s 2017 best selling games. Super Mario Odyssey and Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild were at the #1 and #2 spot and the top 10 games were mostly Nintendo games. The Nintendo Switch also became the fastest selling console in the United States. The Nintendo Switch sold faster than the best selling consoles of all time the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo Wii, the PS 2, and all other consoles released in the USA. As you can see the Nintendo Switch did very well in 2017 but Nintendo Switch gamers in North of America weren’t able to buy the Splatoon 2 Joy Con’s but that is changing.

In a Tweet, Nintendo announced that they are finally bringing the Splatoon 2 limited edition Joy Cons to North America. Until now gamers in Japan can pick up these Joy Cons like normal Joy Cons but gamers in North America have to buy it from someone on eBay or by the Nintendo Switch Splatoon 2 limited edition bundle. The Splatoon 2 Nintendo Switch bundle comes with a normal Nintendo Switch, a pair of green and pink Nintendo Switch joy Cons, a Splatoon 2 carrying case, download code for Splatoon 2, and the other Nintendo Switch accessories that come with other bundles. The Nintendo Switch is a hybrid console that can be played on the go and in your home. Unlike the Wii U, the Nintendo Switch has had great third party support for a Nintendo console. Some of these 3rd party games are Skyrim, Rocket League, DOOM, and many other games. The Switch also got many indie games such as Stardew Valley.
