The Nintendo Switch has been very successful this year. The Nintendo Switch has been selling faster than the best selling console ever Sony’s PS 2 in Japan and it sold 10 million units in only 9 months exceeding Nintendo’s expectations by a lot. Nintendo expected the Nintendo Switch to sell only 8 million Switch units in Nintendo Switch’s first facial year April 2017 through March 2018. For comparison the Xbox One sold only 7 million units, the PS 3 sold 5.63 million units, and the Xbox 360 sold 5.9 million units in 10 and a half months. The Nintendo Switch also became the product of the year and the fastest selling console in the United States. The Nintendo Switch is the fastest selling console in the United State’s history. So it’s not surprising that Nintendo dominated Amazon’s 2017 best sellers.
