Nvidia might Reveal the GTX 1180 in Gamescom 2018

The Nvidia GTX 11 series or Turning GPUs are expected to feature specs higher than the Nivida Titan XP but the price is only going to cost you $700. The Nvidia GTX 1180 is expected to be announced in Gamescom 2018, this August. That rumor is further backed up by Nvidia themselves who said that there is a spectacular surprise for gamers that go to Nvidia’s Gamescom 2018 event.

In a recent article about Nvidia’s event at Gamescom 2018, Nvidia wrote that there is going to be a big surprise for gamers that show up. Nvidia wrote, “The event will be loaded with new, exclusive, hands-on demos of the hottest upcoming games, stage presentations from the world’s biggest game developers, and some spectacular surprises.” It seems like the event is going to be loaded with surprises. We are likely going to see a hands-on demo of Shadow of the Tombraider and the announcement of the Nvidia GTX 11 series GPUs. Nvidia has already released footage of Shadow of the Tombraider so it’s likely that they show us footage of the game running with the GTX 1180. 

Rumors have been suggesting an August announcement for the GTX 1180 for a while now. At first, a Lenovo product manager accidentally leaked that their future PCs are going to be upgraded with GTX 11 series GPUs and they are going to be coming out this Fall. The Product Manager said, “Along with up to GTX 1060 at this time but time to market with Nvidia 11 series up to a GTX 1180 at the end of the road.” After that many sites from the internet said that sources have told them that in fact the Nvidia GTX 1180 is going to be announced this August.

Rumors also suggest that after it’s announcement at Gamescom the Nvidia GTx 11/Turning GPUs are going to be released in September. That release date is likely to happen as Nvidia has released many GPUs in September in the past. According to rumors, the Nvidia GTX 11 series GPUs are going to be revelutionary for the gaming market finally making 4K gaming possible with a GPU under $1000.
