PlayStation says forget specs doesn’t matter
The Xbox One S is a lot weaker than the Ps 4 Pro, and Sony was advertising on that. Now Microsoft’s Xbox One X is a lot stronger than the PS 4 Pro, but PlayStation’s Global Sales boss Jim Ryan says specs doesn’t matter. Jim Ryan told The Telegraph specs are good, but that’s all, how the game looks matters, not the specs. He said he believes Sony is still the best platform to play on. Fans were saying when the PS 4 was stronger Sony said specs matter, but now they say specs doesn’t matter. Sony has a lot more exclusive games then the Xbox One so that might make some fans buy the PS 4 Pro, but fans that like graphics and don’t care if they miss some good games will probably buy the Xbox One X.
The Xbox One X is definitely the most powerful console ever, right now it’s almost impossible to build a PC that plays better than an Xbox One X for $499.99. The Xbox One X CPU is a Custom x86 [Jaguar Evolved] that means it’s a little better than the PS 4 Pro. The real difference is in the GPU. The Xbox One X GPU will have 40 compute units, GPU core clock 1172MHz, and 6 TF. PS 4 Pro’s GPU has 36 compute units, 911MHz core clock, and 4.2 TF. The Xbox One X has 12 GB of GDDR5 ram vs. PS4 pros 8GB of GDDR5 ram. Xbox one X’s GPU is a little better than an RX 480, but with optimization, the Xbox One X performs a lot better than the RX 480. The RX 480 can’t run every game at 1080p 60fps, but the Xbox One X can. That’s not because the Xbox One X is very powerful, that’s because consoles have great optimization. The Xbox 360 and PS 3 were able to run GTA V, and they were using 12-year-old hardware.
