Sony PlayStation 5 To be the Ultimate Gaming Console
The PS 5 is going to be very powerful
The Sony PlayStation 4 is the most popular console in the gaming market right now and, it’s the most powerful console you can get for $300 or less and, arguable the best console that you can get right now. The Sony PlayStation 4 features loads of outstanding exclusives and according to Sony themselves, the PS 5 is going to feature backwards compatibility with all PlayStation 4 games which means that you can play all of these exclusives on your 8k TV running on Zen 2, Navi, and a fast SSD.
PlayStation 5 Specs
We now know that the Sony PlayStation 5 is definitely going to feature AMD’s next-gen 7nm GPUs and CPUs, Zen 2 and Navi. The Sony PlayStation 5 is going to be the first game console ever to feature an 8 core/16 threads CPU and an SSD. The PS 5’s APU is going to be able to deliver upto 12 teraflops of performance and, it is said that it’ll feature an SSD that’s faster than any SSD you can buy for the PC right now. Although we don’t know how much RAM is going to be in the PS 5, Sony will need at least 16gb for the system and the VRAM. The PS 5’s APU will probably need 8GB of RAM to be able to play the latest games at 4k 60FPS.
The Ultimate Gaming Console?
The Sony PlayStation 5 is going to feature a very fast SSD which means that games will load in a fraction of the time and, you’ll probably be able to play the latest games at 4k 60 FPS. The PS 5 will also be able to play 8k video and who knows, maybe even 8k games. AMD Navi and Zen 2 are going to be very powerful and, they wouldn’t cost a lot of money. PlayStation 5’s graphics combined with the hopefully outstanding exclusives Sony has planned with the PS 5 and all of that combined with the numerous PS 4 games you’ll have a lot to do on the PS 5.
When is the PS 5 Coming Out?
Although we don’t have an official release date for the PS 5 right now, rumors are flying around that it’ll come out in late 2019 or 2020, it is rumored that the PS 5 will be announced at E3 for the price point of $500. The PlayStation 5 is most likely not going to cost you more than $500 as Sony wouldn’t want to repeat the same mistakes they made with the PS3. Of course, 8k is also another bonus but, right now 8k TVs aren’t exactly accessible to the average person that’ll purchase the PS 5.
