RTX 2080 to Play Triple-A Games at 4k 60 FPS According to Latest Benchmarks
RTX 2080 is Going to Make 4K 60 FPS Gaming Possible

4k 60 FPS gaming has been around for a long time, but the majority of gamers don’t have access to that. Most PC gamers can’t afford to build a system that can play all triple-A games at 4k 60 FPS even the Titan XP wasn’t able to keep 4K 60 FPS on all triple-A games, but Nvidia is changing that. Nvidia’s RTX GPUs are the first gaming GPUs that use Raytracing, and for the first time, gamers can play the latest triple-A games at 4k 60 FPS with the RTX 2080.
Benchmarks for the RTX 2080 have come out and it performs well. According to the Benchmark, on Final Fantasy XV, the RTX 2080 got 60 FPS on 4k. Selected titles use a feature called DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), and that makes certain games perform 40 to 50% better than the GTX 1080. Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition with the GTX 1080 runs at 50 FPS running at ultra settings 1440p. Even for games that don’t support Nvidia’s DLSS feature they still get a big performance boost, Mass Effect Andromeda 4k, HDR the GPU got an average of 67 FPS, and this game doesn’t even DLSS. The games that were benchmarked by Nvidia are very demanding.
Nvidia announced RTX 2080 in GamesCom and the showcased Ray Tracing for most of the show. When a gamer tried a demo of Shadow of the Tomb Raider with Ray Tracing enabled and the RTX 2080TI in it, they noticed that the game wasn’t performing well and gamers were mad at Nvidia because these cards were supposedly very powerful. Nvidia decided to stop all of the rumors by releasing these benchmarks, so we know how these cards are going to perform. For the first time, gamers can play the latest games at 4k, 60 FPS, ultra settings with the RTX 2080.
You can purchase the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 TI right now for $799 for the RTX 2080 and $1,199 for the RTX 2080 TI.
