When is Red Dead 2 Coming Out for the PC?

Red Dead Redemption 2 is the second installment in the infamous Red Dead Redemption series, and it is one of the most anticipated games of the year. Unfortunately, like the first installment in the series, Rockstar hasn’t announced the game for PC yet, but they have made many statements about how Rockstar cares a lot about the PC gaming market. Although Rockstar hasn’t officially talked about a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2, we could still guess if it’s going to be released for PC and when it’s coming out. 

Is Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Even Going to Exist?

Although Red Dead Redemption didn’t come out for PC, there is a big chance that Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be released for PC. Red Dead Redemption 2 PC is probably going to exist, why wouldn’t it? If Rockstar does release the game for both Xbox One and PS 4 at the same time, that probably means they don’t have an exclusivity deal with Sony and Microsoft. Rockstar wants to sell as many copies as possible so it wouldn’t make any sense for them to release the game only for the consoles. If they release the game for PC, it will sell millions and millions of copies. There is no reason for the game to not come out for PC. 

When is it Coming Out?

Although we don’t know precisely when we can have could make a good guess. Rockstar is probably going to do the same thing they did with GTA V. Red Dead Redemption 2 is probably going to be released with the PS 5 and Xbox Two Versions of the game, similair to what they did with GTA V. GTA V was released for the Xbox One and PS 3 on September 17, 2013 and then it came out for the Xbox One and PS 4 on  November 18th, 2014 and on April 14th, 2015 for PC. According to rumors, the PlayStation 5 is going to be released sometime in 2020. Rockstar is definitely going to release Red Dead 2 for the PS 5, and it will likely come out for PC as well. The next-gen and PC versions of the game are probably going to feature better graphics and new mechanics similair to what they did with GTA V.
