Nvidia’s Next-Gen Titan GPU Series Are Coming Really Soon

The high-end Nvidia RTX cards have been pretty disappointing. Although they are next-gen cards, RTX performs about 15% better than 1000 series Nvidia cards around the same price point. Nvidia RTX wasn’t powerful but we thought that ray tracing might make it worth it to upgrade from something like the GTX 1080TI to the RTX 2080 but, ray tracing is pretty much useless. Even the RTX 2080TI can’t run Battlefield V at 1080p ultra raytracing enabled at 60 FPS. The worlds most powerful gaming GPU, RTX Titan is going to be released really soon as suggested by numerous rumors.

Tech Youtuber JayzTwoCents Tweeted a picture of Nvidia RTX Titan’s box. 

Although this isn’t much, it shows that RTX Titan is going to be released soon. Nvidia sends their latest GPUs to YouTubers and tech sites to get them reviewed. Nvidia likely sent Jay RTX Titan so that he can review it and do benchmarks so that he can post his review of the cards right when Nvidia announces it. Since Youtbers have gotten review cards, Nvidia RTX is probably really close to release. Nvidia usually gives YouTubers review cards about a week or two before the card is announced and released so, RTX Titan will most likely be released really soon. 

RTX Titan Expected Performance

Although we don’t have any benchmarks, we can guess how RTX Titan will perform. Nvidia RTX Titan will be extremely powerful. The RTX 2080Ti was the direct competitor for the Nvidia Titan XP and it blew it away in gaming benchmarks. If the RTX Titan GPU is better then the RTX 2080Ti by 30%, gamers might be able to run games such as Battlefield V at 4k ultra 144FPS.
