AMD Logo

Right now there are a lot of rumors going around about AMD’s next-gen 7nm GPUs and CPUs and we have know that they are going to be released sometime in 2019 but, we didn’t have a specific release date until now. Of course, these are just rumors so take them with a grain of salt.

AMD Navi and Zen 2 Coming July 7th

According to the latest rumors, AMD is going to release their next-gen 7nm CPUs and GPUs on July 7th, 2019 or 7/7/19. The latest rumors claim that AMD chose the 7/7 release date because they are going to release two different 7nm GPU and CPU series on that day. AMD has already done this with the Radeon VII which was the worlds first 7nm GPU and it came out on the 7th of February. Although this is the first rumor to give us a specific release date, a lot of rumors have claimed that AMD is going to release Navi and Zen 2 in summer 2019 which means that a July 7th release is very likely.

AMD Zen 2 and Navi to be Announced at Computex 2019

A July 7th release date means that AMD is going to release Navi and Zen 2 around May 2019 which is exactly why it makes a lot of sense for AMD to announce their next-gen hardware at Computex. A Computex 2019 announcement isn’t very far fetched as they announced the second generation of Ryzen Threadripper CPUs at Computex.

AMD Zen 2 Specs

Rihgt now, there aren’t a lot of rumors going around about Zen 2 but, we do have a specs list from a somewhat credible source which you can see below. As you can see, for the low price of $99 games are going to be able to buy a 6 core CPU and for $229 you can get an 8c/16t CPU with a boost clock of 4.8 GHz which means that a $230 next-gen Zen 2 CPU is going to be able to outperform the $500 Core I9-9900k.

AMD Navi Leaked Specs

Thanks to a somewhat credible source, we have got our hands on a specs list for AMD Navi. The latest rumors claim that AMD’s RX 3060 and RX 3070 are going to cost $129 and $200 and they’ll be released in 2019 while the $250 RX 3080 is coming out in 2020. The best part is the fact that the RX 3060 and RX 3070 are going to be able to perform like the RX 580 and Vega 56 while the RX 3080 is going to be able to perform like the RTX 2070.
