AMD Navi Delayed to October While Zen 2 Coming Summer 2019
AMD Navi Is Supposedly Going to be Released in October

AMD released the world’s first 7nm GPU, the Radeon VII and it hasn’t been doing that well. Benchmarks and the user experience shows that AMD seriously rushed the GPU to get it out as fast as possible. AMD Radeon VII is a bit disappointing so, gamers have been waiting to get their hands on AMD Navi as it was supposedly going to be released around summer 2019 but according to the latest rumors, Navi is going to be delayed until October.
AMD Navi Delayed
According to cowcotland, AMD’s 7nm Navi GPU series is going to be delayed until October 2019 instead of coming out around summer time. AMD Navi has probably been delayed due to 7nm supply issues. Because of supply issues, AMD had to launch the Radeon VII in limited quantities and that’s why it’s basically sold out everywhere. Another reason for the delay may be the fact that AMD Navi is going to be featured in the next-gen PS 5 and Xbox 2 consoles. This means that a lot of the supplies will be dedicated to those consoles hence AMD will have to delay Navi so that they can supply GPUs for both PCs and consoles.
AMD Zen 2 Coming Summer 2019
AMD had already told us that Zen 2 is going to be released sometime in 2019 and we were hoping to get a release date for Zen 2 at CES 2019, but AMD didn’t tell us anything. Although we don’t have an official release date, rumors claim that AMD’s next-gen Ryzen CPUs are going to be released sometime around summer 2019. Although these rumors aren’t very credible, we can assume that Zen 2 is close to release. AMD has already relased benchmarks for the 8 core variant of Zen 2 which means that it’s not very far from release.
