 Apple‘s iPhone X hasn’t had a lot of competition because it is a generation after Samsung’s Galaxy S8 so it has a better camera and processor but it seems like in a month the iPhone X will have some serious competition. Right now we know everything about Samsung Galaxy s9‘s and the leaks are from very reliable sources so they are probably true. Some of the leaks are from companies such as dbrand.

The Samsung Galaxy S9‘s battery size might disappoint some users because it’s the exact same size as the Galaxy S8. The Galaxy S9 will have a 3000 Ah battery and the Galaxy S9+ will have 3500 Ah battery. The Galaxy S9 will have a 5.8in screen and the Galaxy S9+ will have a 6.2in screen. Both models will have a QHD+ Super AMOLED curved display. In the USA the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and Samsung Exynos 9810 in the rest of the world. We don’t know how the Snapdragon 845 performs but Galaxy S9 users will enjoy crazy high speeds in LTE with a peak speed of  1.2 Gbps and 150 Mbps upload speed. The iPhone X can’t compete with this speed but most people wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the speed becuase there aren’t any carriers that offer gigabit LTE speed. The S9 will have 4 GB of RAm and the S9+ will have 6 GB of RAM. It will come with a fingerprint scanner and it will be mounted under the camera. The S9 will have a 12MP camera and a Galaxy S9+ will have a dual 12Mp camera with (f/1.5, f/2.4). Both phones will have an 8MP rear-facing camera. Unlike most other phones the Galaxy S9 will have a headphone jack and it will be charged with USB-C. It will come with Stero speakers, Wireless Charging, and IP68 water and dust resistance. 

The Galaxy S9 is expected to launch and be revealed on February 25. According to leaks from Korea the Samsung Galaxy S9 will cost KRW950,000 around $875 and the Galaxy S9+ is going to cost KRW990,000  around $920. The Galaxy S9+ will be one of the more expensive phones but it will still be $80 cheaper than Apples iPhone X. Right now a Galaxy S8+ will cost you $824.99 but the Galaxy Note 8 costs $950. If the Galaxy S9+ is going to cost $920 then the Note 8 will cost well above $1000.
