Razer showed off with its first smartphone a couple months ago. Rumors of next generation of the razor smartphone are already out. In rumors, designs often appear a months or even weeks after the launch of the previous model. Now its time for Razer potential second generation phone before the end of 2018.

According to FrAndroid, unnamed sources are claiming that Razer will bring a Razer Phone 2 this September with a commercialized version of Project Linda revealed last week at CES 2018. IFA 2018 is also currently scheduled for early September, it would be Razer’s first opportunity to make an official announcement for the next gen at the Berlin press event.

Razer has not commented on the possible next gen of the razor phone, but compatibility with the same Project Linda laptop dock as the original Razer Phone is something you could think  of easily. Razer has told us that Project Linda should be compatible with most Android smartphones in theory so is not likely that it does not support the linda project. The Razer Phone currently retails for $700 USD in North America.
